Honeybundle 'March Box'

Here I have my second monthly box from NZ subscription box company, Honeybundle. I was overjoyed when I received this month's box as prior to that, I was feeling a little bit down in the dumps. Honeybundle's March box brightened up my mood, again with the beautiful packaging and hand made items. Before we get into the March box, a bit about Honeybundle's subscriptions. Honeybundle have three different subscriptions, with the first one being 'Honeybundle Handmade', which contains four full-sized, handmade products and is $25 per month. Their second bundle is the 'Honeybundle Cycle' which is built around nurturing you during your cycle. This contains handmade products along with a few other goodies to help you get through your cycle and is $35 per month. The third bundle which is what I subscribe to, is the 'Honeybundle. This box is $75 per month and can contain four full-sized luxury items, two Honeybundle handmade items, and a handful of samples / testers.

The packaging was beautiful, yet again. The box was filled with shredded paper and then wrapped in blue, floral fabric. This gorgeous fabric has several uses as you can re-use it as a knot wrap for future presents, as a scarf, or as a colourful headband. I also received a hand written card detailing each item in the box. In my March bundle I received a mix of six products for my hair, home, body, and face.

4 & 5. Rosehip Facial Toner & Infused Rosehip Oil made by Honeybundle

These two beauties came in their own Honeybundle drawstring bag, and boy was I excited to try these! Toner water is probably my must-have product that I use twice a day, so having a new toner water to use left me feeling giddy. The facial toner has a real earthy, herbaceous, scent, and just a couple spritz of this left my face feeling refreshed. Honeybundle's facial toner contains all natural ingredients such as rosehip infused evening primose oil, aloe vera extract, witch hazel, and rose hydrosol.

With the rosehip facial oil, a little goes a long way, and I'll be incorporating this oil into my evening skin routine. Anything with the word 'oil' in it usually leaves me freaking out, but this oil is lightweight and not greasy whatsoever. This antioxidant oil is slowly infused with evening primrose oil to nurture your skin. If this is just the beginning of Honeybundle's handmade products, I can't wait to see more loving creations in future boxes. Note, Honeybundle also have these up in their store on their website!

6. The Oil by COMB

Here we have a hair oil by NZ company, COMB which is infused with manuka honey. This golden hair elixir contains other ingredients such as: sweet almond oil, grape seed oil, broccoli seed oil, apricot kernal oil, lavender oil, avocado oil, jojoba seed oil, cannabis sativa oil, and rosemary leaf extract. With the infusion of manuka honey, this oil is able to attract and trap moisture in your hear without leaving it feeling greasy, and this is something I did notice using this product.

There are four recommended ways to use COMB and I applied the oil to towel dried, clean hair. You can also add the oil to your hair mask, as an overnight treatment or just as a finishing touch to styled hair. A little goes a long way, and I found that I only needed a few drops to cover the mid-length of my hair, down to the ends. As I do use hair straighteners regularly and am prone to dry ends, this oil makes my hair feel and look healthier, and it smells wonderful. I also found that it made combing my hair a hell of a lot easier. I think next time, I'll be adding a few drops into a hair treatment.

This box may be $75 per month, but it contains a value of well over that, and I can guarantee that you will love and use everything in this box made by small, boutique businesses within New Zealand. I truly feel that the Honeybundle box is the ultimate, nurturing package, and they've introduced me to new businesses that create loving, unique items. You can subscribe to Honeybundle here.
