I AM Co.'s 'November Delight Box'

The November Delight Box is my second box from I AM Co and it was full of healthy goodies. It was literally so full, that I was surprised they managed to fit everything into the box, and so neatly as well! Again, their packaging is immaculate and it was good to see ten items in the box. The November box contained mainly food and drinks, and I think this is a great box to gift to any foodies you have in your life! A monthly Delight Box costs $35 NZD and shipping is free!

This month's box had a range of sweet and savory snacks along with several beverages.

1. Bennetto Natural Foods Co Chocolate Bar

I usually can't stand dark chocolate, but this bar changed my mind and my taste buds. This coconut bar of goodness made for the perfect after-dinner treat, was sweet, tangy, and left me wanting more! The info card that told me more about Bennetto was really interesting, with Bennetto Natural Foods planting one timber tree for every 1000 bars produced and Bennetto's chocolates are free from soy, dairy and preservatives. You have to also appreciate the beautiful art on their packagining, done by NZ artist, Henrietta Harris.

2. Lightly Salted Chickpeas by Happy Snack Company

Next up, we have a savory snack which is a pack of crunchy roasted chick peas. The ingredients are chickpeas of course, canola oil, sea salt and garlic powder, which makes for a very healthy snack. I ate them all in one go at the office and found that they are really yummy but you will need a bottle of water as they are a bit dry. Chickpeas are packed with nutrients and left me feeling quite full so I didn't need a big lunch or other snacks for the rest of the day. Happy Snack Company also makes fav-va bean snacks and they come in a range of tasty flavours so I'll be heading to the supermarket to try some others.

3. Vista Sparkling Lemon Water

Like dark chocolate, another thing that I've never been a fan of is sparkling water, and again, this can of sparkling water by NZ company Vista has changed my mind! I was out in the garden doing some weeding today and this quenched my thirst and had a hint of lemon. As I'm also not big on sweet drinks at all, this is a great drink, especially knowing that it contains no sugar, just carbonated water and natural fruit flavours. I'll be getting an 8-pack of the feijoa flavoured ones to try.

4. Onion & Green Chives Chips by Proper Crisps

Like in last month's box, I've received another packet of chips by Proper Crisps and I definitely prefer these ones over the kumara chips. I could eat onions and chives with everything so I downed these chips in under five minutes. This was the best pack of chips I've had in a while as they aren't smothered in flavouring but are still very delicious!

5. WDOM Lite Milk

We also have another product that was featured in the October Delight Box which is a bottle of Lite Milk by WDOM. This is the largest item in the box but probably the product that I'm least likely to use as I haven't used the milk from last month's box.

Price: $3.99 Rating: ❤❤/5

6. Qi Tea Samples

This month's sample is a trio of tea sachets by Qi Tea and their teas are certified Fairtrade and Organic. I've tried some Qi Tea samples before but I've never bought a box of their tea so it's nice to try their tea again. We have Green Tea Wellness which is a superfruits blend of blueberry, pomegranate and hawhorn fruit, Green Tea Detox which has ginger, citrus and peppermint for cleansing, and White Tea Relax with a spicy blend of cinammon, cloves and ginger.

Price: $9.25 per box Rating: ❤❤❤❤/5

7. Earthware Reusable Produce Bag

One of my fave items in the November Box is this reusable produce bag from NZ company, Earthware. This handy bag is perfect to carry around and take with you to the supermarket and is an alternative to single use bags for your fruits and veggies. I have own several reusable produce and believe that everyone should have at least one of these bags! You'll also notice that your fruits and veggies will last longer in the fridge as this bag allows the produce to breathe and what's also amazing about Earthware's bags is that they are made from 100% recycled plastic materials!

8. Cere's Organic Cacao Fig Orange Raw Wholefood Bar

This raw snack bar by Cere's Organic contains figs, almonds, sultanas, cacao powder, cinnamon and cold pressed orange oil. I don't ever buy raw snacks or treats when I'm out so this was an interesting bar to try. I couldn't eat the whole bar as it is quite filling, so this is a good snack to take with you if you're going for a long walk or need something to see you through the day. Cere's have a range of different flavoured raw wholefood bars and their bars are vegan and certified organic. I buy Cere's Organics products (their apple cider vinegar is really good) and you can taste each of the ingredients in this bar but this one's not quite for me due to texture, I wasn't keen on all the seeds in the bar.

Price: $3.39 Rating: ❤❤/5

9. Raspberry Lemonade Organic Kombucha by Remedy Kombucha

Another fave in the November Box is this bottle of Raspberry Lemonade Kombucha from Remedy Kombucha, and I'm now officially a kombucha convert. These are absolutely delicious and my partner loved it as well so I'll be going to buy more of these today! This raspberry lemonade kombucha tastes sweet but naturally has no sugar so you can get a healthy sweet fix without feeling bad. Remedy Kombucha's drinks are raw, vegan and unpasteurized and are full of healthy bacteria and yeasts.

Price: $5.00 Rating: ❤❤❤❤❤/5

10. Manuka Honey Syrup by Manuka Health NZ

And the last item in the box is a bottle of Manuka Honey Syrup by Manuka Health NZ. This contains high grade NZ MGO 400+ Manuka Honey, Rewarewa Honey and Propolis to help promote winter wellness, and is good for sore throats and coughs. It has quite a strong and minty taste and feels soothing on the throat and I'll be using this daily to keep the ills and chills away that I find easily go around when you work in an office environment.

Price: $27.00 Rating: ❤❤❤❤❤/5

Verdict: The November Delight Box was jam packed and had a good selection of useful products, snacks and drinks to enjoy. The highlights of this box for me were the Raspberry Lemonade Kombucha, the Earthware reusable bag and the Manuka Honey Syrup. This month's box also contained more full-sized items and less samples than last month and has given me some future purchase ideas for my next supermarket shop! I did a bit of travelling last week and found that some of the snacks were perfect to take away with me.
