My Treat 'September Body + Underwear' Box
My Treat have really outdone themselves with the September Detox Box as this box is literally jam packed with goodness. I'm reviewing the 'Body + Underwear' box, which is $44.95 NZD per month along with $6 shipping. I'm overwhelmed by this month's box as it contains 10 items (yes, 10!), which is amazing to see as most subscription boxes contain five to seven items max. In the September box, I received two pairs of underwear, seven full-sized items and one sample.
1. Qi Tea Samples
Let's kick off the Detox Box with the tea samples made by Qi Tea. I'm a daily herbal tea drinker so to try out new tea that I haven't had before was fun and tasty. The three samples were the Detox Green Tea with ginger, citrus and peppermint, the Wellness Green Tea with blueberry, pomegranate and hawthorn fruit, and the Relax White Tea with cinnamon, cloves and ginger. Qi Teas are certified organic by Ecocert and their tea bags are not bleached. I'm more a loose leaf drinker but I'll be keeping an eye out for these in the supermarket.
2. Kawakawa Balm by Kawakawa Rotorua
This month's box contains two natural skincare products by Kawakawa Rotorua with the first being this glass jar of multipurpose healing balm. Kawakawa is a native plant in New Zealand that contains natural healing properties. This balm can be used for multiple skin issues such as windburn, dry skin, eczema, cuts, rashes, insect bites, burns and bruising. I've been getting some small dry patches of skin on my face and have found this balm amazing as I only need to apply a tiny amount and it helps keep those dry patches moisturised. Your skin can really feel the effects of the changes of the seasons and this product is one of my faves in the September box as it's an absolute savior!

3. Floral Undies by Candie's
This colourful, cheeky pair of underwear is not my usual style but this pair with it's soft, mesh-like look is so fun and comfortable to wear!

4. Purifying Charcoal & Manuka Honey Face Mask from By Nature
I can tell you that after this winter, my face needs a really good cleansing mask. This mask contains active manuka honey for skin stimulation, moisturising and soothing dry skin and activated charcoal to remove trapped dirt and oil build up. Little warning though, use scissors to cut open the packet. It's not easy to tear open and I had charcoal flick onto my mirror trying to open the packet. The mask itself comes in sheet form which makes for an easy application. This is quite a wet mask that feels cooling which I much prefer over masks that dry up and leave your face feeling tight. After ten minutes of wearing the mask my face felt revitalised.

5. Charcoal Grey Underwear by Candie's
I always love dark underwear with no patterns and sexy lace but I think I got the wrong sizing of underwear this month as this pair is just too small for me and unfortunately don't fit me. Both pairs are a size small but luckily the other pair is a slightly looser fit.

6. Lanocreme Nourishing Night Cream
This luxurious night cream by Lanocreme contains collagen, argan oil, lanolin, and magnolia bark extract. Magnolia bark extract is used in Chinese medicine and has anti-oxidizing properties. I normally just use one moisturiser both at morning and night, so it's nice to break up my routine with a different cream in the evening. The cream itself feels light and has a slight perfume smell and is another great Detox Box addition as it hydrates and nourishes your skin while you sleep. As you creep into your late twenties it's important to start having a robust morning and night skincare routine and a night cream like this one that will promote skin elasticity and collagen production.

7. Wooden Emery Board
At first I thought, 'Great, this is the third time I've got one these in a box', but then my partner grabbed it from the box and has started using it and he loves it so it has come in handy, and if you ever get something in a box more than once, you can always gift it to someone else! And if this is your first time receiving a My Treat box, it's a useful tool to have and pairs up well with the peppermint foot scrub, as we all know our toes need a bit of loving after wearing socks all winter.
8. Peppermint + Cucumber Foot Scrub from By Nature
As you can see, this month's box is all about detoxing mentally and physically, from head to toe. As well as peppermint and cucumber, this cooling foot scrub also contains honey, aloe vera and vitamins A, C & E. It felt so relaxing massaging this gel like scrub into my feet and it contains biodegradable wax beads (not plastic beads!) that help buff the dead skin from your feet. This left my feet feeling soft and ready for some more open shoes and I don't think I could ever get enough of the regular inclusion of By Nature products!

9. Artemis Jones Cream Perfume
You either like or dislike cream perfumes and I personally like them as I'm not a big perfume person, and I find the cream perfumes more subtle than sprays. With cream perfumes you dab a bit on your wrists, neck and behind your ears. This one by Artemis Jones is Raspberry Lamington scented and also moisturising with ingredients such as shea butter, jojoba oil, castor oil and sweet almond oil. You can check out more Artemis Jones products at here.

10. Kawakawa Bath Salts by Kawakawa Rotorua
The second Kawakawa Rotorua product in the September box is this jar of bath salts. Anytime I see bath products in my boxes, I get super excited as I live for baths. I'm really loving the glass jars for both of Kawakawa products as well, it's always good to see less plastic being used. I haven't tried these bath salts yet but it smells like a jar of peppermint candy canes and I have no doubt that I'm going to have the most relaxing and gorgeous smelling bath with these! You can see of the Kawakawa Rotorua range here.

Verdict: I do need to point out as well that My Treat have ditched the plastic courier satchels (yasssss!) and all of their boxes are now sent out with a courier sticker instead which is amazing and I really hope that more companies take the initiative to stamp out plastic courier packaging. The September Detox Box contains double what you would normally get in other subscription boxes, and it's obvious that My Treat put a lot of thought into the products chosen for their Detox Box. Each product does tie with the theme and there's so much variety here with products for the bath, your face and your feet and you'll be hard pressed to find a detox themed box that tops this one.
