My Treat 'March Body + Underwear Box'
My Treat's theme for March is called 'Colour Me Beautiful' and contains several makeup products by NZ company, Lauren and Louise. Of course makeup is a big part of my daily routine, and I love trying new makeup by cruelty-free brands so this box was quite special, especially as My Treat are delivering beauty products by makeup brands that are a first for their boxes. This gets me super excited as I think we can expect more makeup treats by brands such as Lauren and Louise in future boxes. There are three different boxes you can subscribe to, with this one being the 'Body & Underwear' Box, which is $44.95 NZD per month along with $2.50 shipping. In this month's box, I received two pairs of underwear, two samples, and six full-sized products.
1. La Vie En Rose Nude Lace Cheeky Underwear
We all need a pair of lacy nude underwear and this pair is by a brand that's new to my My Treat boxes. I'm never too worried about the brands of underwear that My Treat include as they're all of good quality. I do adore this pair but it is a bit too cheeky for me, so I've upped my size to Medium for future boxes to ensure that even the cheeky pairs are comfortable for me.

2. Linden Leaves Egg Soap
I have a mild obsession with soap and have amassed quite a collection, so I was obviously thrilled to get this Easter themed soap made by Linden Leaves in my March box. This soap is fat-free and contains certified organic avocado oil to soften your skin. This lightly perfumed soap has a beautiful floral smell, and I'm looking forward to cleaning myself with this cute wee egg. Linden Leaves and My Treat never disappoint and I hope there's more soaps in future boxes!

3. Angel En Provence Iris Restorative Sample
I enjoy getting samples of shampoo and conditioner by Angel En Provence every now and again as I do really like this brand. I haven't used these samples yet as I've recently switched up my hair care range due to colouring my hair, but these samples are also great little treats to add into a pamper gift for friends or family. These two packets of shampoo and conditioner help to restore strength and hydration to damaged hair.
4. Brelil Professional Hi-Co Colour Mask Sample
This is the only item in this month's box that I'm just not really keen on as it's a blonde hair colour mask sample which I won't be using as I have no idea how much coverage it would give and there isn't much in the way of instructions. I've tried doing a bit of a web search but haven't found much info on this colour product, which makes me not want to even try it. I also think that if you're going to colour your hair, it's best to go to the salon and get it done by a professional.
5. Authentic American Heritage Underwear
This pair of grey LOVE boy shorts style underwear are comfy and are perfect for sleeping in!

6. Lauren & Louise Cosmetica Beauty Blender
This month's box has four makeup products by NZ makeup company, Lauren & Louise Cosmetica. I'm delighted to see that My Treat are working with an NZ makeup company to bring new treats to their boxes! Their first product is this beauty blender, with all of their products being in gorgeous, simple packaging. I personally prefer using a beauty blender than a brush to apply my foundation, and to have another one to add to my beauty toolkit is really handy. A lot of beauty blenders come in bright, ugly colours, so it's nice to now have one that's just plain black.

7. Lauren & Louise Cosmetica Luxury Lipstick
I received this mineral cream Luxury Lipstick in the shade 'Tenderness', my second product by Lauren & Louise Cosmetica. It's a shimmery, peachy shade and is very moisturising and cruelty-free! I tend to wear more matte-like lipsticks but this is one that I can see myself regularly wearing to work. The packaging actually feels quite heavy for a lipstick, which I personally like.
The shade 'Tenderness' does suit my olive skin, which is a mega plus when you're receiving a subscription box where you could get any shade! I've had a look at Lauren & Louise Cosmetica's website and there's some darker matter shades that I'd like to try in the future. This lipstick is a bit on the pricey side for me, as I'd probably only spend this much on a Jeffree Star Liquid Lipstick however, this Lauren & Louise lippy is also of high quality and provides full coverage while keeping your lips moist. And to get even one item that is the near the same price as what you pay for a My Treat Box, is amazing!

8. Lauren & Louise Cosmetica Loose Mineral Eyeshadow
The last two products by Lauren & Louise Cosmetica are these pots of loose mineral eye shadow in the shades 'Monacocoa' and '24 Karat'. The value of this box is insane with these eye shadows being $39 NZD each!
And wow, these are some super glittery, heavily pigmented eye shadows as you can see above! We all need decent glittery eye shadow that actually covers and stays on your eyelids so to receive two of these bad boys made me beyond happy and makes me love My Treat even more!

9. Burt's Bees Facial Cleansing Towelettes
The last item in the March box, is a pack of 10 towelettes by Burt's Bees, containing white tea extract. These natural cloth wipes are the perfect end to a makeup themed box, as you've gotta take it all off at the end of the day! Burt's Bees is a well-known brand and I have a friend that swears by their products, especially their lip balms. Removing my makeup was a breeze with these lightly fragranced towelettes and my skin loved me for it.
Price: $11.95 Rating: ❤❤❤❤❤/5
Verdict: My Treat's March box was full of makeup goodies by a brand that's a first for their boxes, Lauren & Louise Cosmetica! Overall thoughts, their mineral makeup is good, it makes you look and feel fab, especially knowing that their makeup is cruelty-free. The highlights in this box for me were the loose eye shadows and the facial towelettes. The value of this month's box is over $160 NZD, and you can get your own gorgeous monthly treats at www.mytreat.co.nz
