My Treat 'February Body + Underwear Box'

I've been excitedly awaiting My Treat's February box, as this month's box contains some much needed products to help you unwind and get some zzz's. When I saw pics of what to expect in this box on My Treat's social pages, I couldn't contain my excitement and have to say that this is my favorite box yet! For the past few years I've struggled with getting to sleep as my I've always got too much going on in my mind, so I always welcome products that will help make bedtime a little less stressful. There are three different boxes you can subscribe to, with this one being the 'Body & Underwear' Box, which is $44.95 NZD per month along with $2.50 shipping. My Treat now also offer a 'Weekly Pay' option, so that you can pay for your box in four installments, which is a great option for when you're on a budget. In the February sleep-themed box, I received two pairs of underwear, four full-sized products, and one sample.

1. Candie's Lace Back Underwear

This lacy pair shares the same pattern and colours as one of the pairs I received back in September, with some differences in the detailing.

This underwear has some serious sexy going on at the back with your whole bottom being covered with intricate lace detailing. Out of this month's two pairs, this one is my most liked as it's comfortable and also subtly sexy.

2. SleepDrops NZ

I'm a bit skeptical of any sleep products, however, I'm open to trying herbal sleep remedies in the hope that they will help me get to the land of nod. This bottle of herbs and flower essences by SleepDrops NZ contains 13 different herbs along with 11 homeopathic sleep remedies. Some of the ingredients that make up these sleep drops are: Californian Poppy, Lavender, Lemon Balm, Chamomile, Passionflower, Kava, Melatonin, and Milk Thistle. For the first five nights of taking these sleep drops, you need to take 5 to 10 drops under your tongue every half an hour starting two hours before bed, and from the sixth night you can take 5 to 10 drops every half hour, an hour before bed. This 30ml bottle contains around 600 drops, and I'm now half way through the bottle. It does have quite a sweet, floral taste which isn't unpleasant, so it's not difficult to take this under your tongue every half hour. Have I noticed a difference? Yes, I have. It's helped with relaxing me before bed and I've had several full, deep sleeps after using these drops, so deep that I even slept through one of my alarms. I definitely recommend trying these sleep drops if you have trouble sleeping and I'll be buying another bottle when this one's empty!

3. Linden Leaves Eye Rescue Serum

The February box features two relaxing products by Linden Leaves, with their first being this eye rescue serum. As always, their packaging is simple and elegant, from the box to the tube itself. It's obvious that Linden Leaves prides themselves on being a sustainable and ethical company, as even the wording on the box was printed with vegetable inks. I'm in dire need of a product that will rejuvenate the tired area around my eyes, so I've been looking forward to seeing what affect this eye serum has. The core ingredients in this eye serum are: organic white tea for it's anti-oxidant properties, rose to tone and nourish, and grapeseed oil to balance and hydrate the contour area. The tube has a roller-ball applicator which makes applying this serum a breeze, and the roller-ball and serum combine to create a cooling effect on your skin. It's incredibly refreshing and I'll be using this once in the morning and once at night. This product also ties in with this month's theme, as it will soothe your tired eyes before you go to bed and refresh your skin in the morning!

4. Lavender Pillow Spray by Myself Skincare

Another favourite in this box is this bottle of Lavender Pillow Spray. There's nothing better than the smell of lavender on your pillow to help you drift to sleep. It's made with 100% pure NZ lavender oil (love seeing My Treat collaborate with other NZ companies). A couple of sprays from this bottle of relaxing aromatherapy oil will do the trick, and smelling this on my pillow and even my sheets each night, is a soothing and is a much needed, treat to end my night!

5. Authentic American Heritage Intimates

I think this is my first pair of underwear from My Treat that is a tad too tight for my booty! The size is extra small, and even though I can fit into them, it is a bit of a squeeze and not a pair I'd wear on the daily. But I do really like the bright fuchsia pink lace and the tie dye, so if this was a couple sizes larger I think they'd be perfect! I do understand though, that every now and again there will be the odd pair that my bum and hips don't agree with. I might look into upping my size just to ensure that every pair is comfortable and roomy!

6. Dentiste Nighttime Herbapeutic Toothpaste Sample

This toothpaste sample helps decrease that horrid morning breath and contains 14 natural extracts that are antiseptic and antibacterial. I personally prefer more natural toothpastes like this one, and have been using Red Seal so it was great to try something new. I myself don't really have bad morning breath but I did enjoy the taste and after-taste of this toothpaste and it left my teeth feeling clean so this would be a product I would consider purchasing.

7. Linden Leaves In Bloom Pink Petal Bath Bombs

Ah bath bombs..many a bath bomb in my time, namely LUSH. Everyone knows that LUSH bath bombs are pretty amazing, so it's hard to compare them with any other bath bomb made by other brands. First off, I can't get over how beautiful the packaging is for this set of mini bath bombs by Linden Leaves and this is a perfect product to include in a sleepy-themed box! There a four bath bombs in a tube, and they have a lovely light floral scent, but they are a bit on the small side. To be honest, I think you need to use all four in one bath. I used two which wasn't enough, and ended up also adding a So White bath bomb as well. All in all though, these bath bombs did do the trick as I felt very relaxed lying in the bath with rose petals floating on the surface of the water.

Verdict: This box focused on relaxation and sleep, and is one of my most-loved boxes by My Treat so far and the highlights for me were definitely the sleep drops and pillow spray and this box did exactly what it intended to do, help me relax and make my nighttime routine easier. It's refreshing to receive a monthly box where the value of the box is a lot more than what you've paid for as the total value of this box is $160 NZD.
